Since May 2015, I have been freelancing in managing cultural projects, music bands and touring and curating visual, conceptual, musical and interior concepts for art and entertainment spaces.

I also had an interesting experience in preparing and presenting a podcast show on the indie music scene in the Arab region, with the beautiful team of Mideastunes.

Lubna's work was instrumental in the success of Mideast Tunes Radio. Her natural talent

as a communicator and her extensive network of artist made the show possible.

Above all, I have been working on my designing skills for visual proposals of different projects.

Meanwhile, I ink my papers and draw compiled emotions of an imaginary lost golden fish that may has been me in one of the previous lifetimes.

ABOUT ME

In November 2010 I was the Project Coordinator for a festival, managed by a former local business dedicated to visual arts and entertainment programming. That year I also started working as a project coordinator with the same company, & I coordinated several festivals & events dedicated to fine arts, in addition to managing a space “Café Des artistes”, & curating 4 fine art exhibitions by local emerging artists. In 2011, I joined Al Balad Theater as a Program Manager, where I worked on the programming of all yearly festivals & independent cultural events, in addition to curating & art directing a couple of Al Balad major regional yearly festivals.

Ac coupe of years ago I had the chance to be a part of curating one of Amman's fewest music bars; visually and musically.

Before 2010, I have been looking for my passion career, so I stumbled upon a couple of jobs that included some fine experiences in sales, marketing, data-entry and administrative and logistics coordination skills.

WHAT I'VE DONE

I have discovered my passion in life in my 30's, although I had a lot of signs to do that earlier. However it only proves how glorious is being in your 30's... (Not a lie :) Anyway, my passion is inking; I admire all kinds of inking, and I love to think of myself as an inker.

I've also been lucky enough to do something I love for the past couple of years; I've been making income through designing visual proposals for different kinds of projects. That includes providing consultancy on content, presentation of ideas, budgets and sponsorship packaging. After all, an inker has to do what an inker has to do!
